Why 6 hours of skiing, snowboarding, and alpine touring?

Our activity is meant to be symbolic and in solidarity with all children with heart conditions and their families, as open-heart surgery can last an average of 6 hours for children with heart conditions.

What is the registration fee?

Alpine skiing and snowboarding rate, including the lift ticket, an En Cœur tubular scarf, and après-ski:

  • Adult: $115 
  • Child: $55 

Touring skiing rate, including the entrance ticket, an En Cœur tubular scarf, and après-ski:

  • Adult: $50

Suggested fundraising: $300 per participant and $1,000 per team.

Is registration free for children?

For alpine skiing and snowboarding, the fees are $55.

For touring (children in sleds), it is free.

If one or more members of my team drop out, is the registration fee refundable?

All registrations are non-refundable. If you wish to transfer it, contact us at sseguin@en-coeur.org.

What is the deadline for registration?

The deadline to register is February 14 at 8:00 PM.

Can I participate in the event alone?

The event can be done both in teams and individually.

Can we get a tax receipt for registration fees?

No. However, it's possible for donations.

Does the event take place in bad weather?

Yes.

Can I drop out during the course?

Yes, the event is intended to be friendly and non-competitive.

Will there be food on-site?

Yes, the main chalet cafeteria will be open all day. You can also bring your lunch.

Is there a locker room on-site?

You can place your coats and bags on the tables.

Is there a first aid team on-site?

Yes.

Is there parking?

Yes, at the ski resort parking lot.

Is there accommodation on-site?

No, but there are several hotels near the resort. Check: https://montsutton.com/hebergements/

How do we get to the starting point?

Meet at the main chalet at the base of the slopes.
