ADAPTED HOUSES ACROSS QUEBEC:

LE RÉSEAUX DES MAISONS MARTIN-MATTE

In Quebec, the lack of resources to meet the needs of people living with head trauma is glaring. Due to a lack of resources, a victim aged in their thirties can be transferred to a long-term care center in order to receive help 24 hours a day. However, the context is little or not adapted to the realities of the victims of head trauma since they are still capable of performing certain activities. They therefore also deserve a real home adapted to their needs.

The donations collected to date by the Foundation have largely contributed to the expansion of the Martin-Matte Maisons Network across Quebec. In fact, eight adapted accommodation resources have opened their doors in Laval, Sherbrooke, Blainville, Saint-Prosper, Quebec, Coaticook, Trois-Rivières and Trois-Pistoles.
