Patient Emergency Funds

The Hôpital Montfort is located in an underprivileged neighborhood and serves a large number of patients who are homeless or living in precarious circumstances. As a result, we receive more and more requests to support these patients with difficult financial means or in dire personal circumstances. And that's without taking into account the current social and economic situation, marked by growing uncertainty that affects many people at various levels.

The Patients Emergency Fund was created to meet the needs of these less privileged patients, to provide services that go beyond health care.

THE FACTS

• The average income in the Ottawa-Vanier ward is $38,400.
• Nearly 50% of the population earns an annual salary of $40,000 or less.
• The average household income is $55,450.
• 75,225 people aged 18 to 64 are in a low-income situation.
• 4,180 people receive no income at all.

From basic hygiene needs to clothing, transportation, temporary housing or access to community services, your donation will make a difference.

All funds raised will be invested in this emergency fund and will facilitate social reintegration, provide respite during a difficult period, and restore hope and self-esteem for our patients.

GET INVOLVED AND DONATE FOR THE WELL-BEING OF OUR PATIENTS!
