Organize a fundraiser

If you wish to organize a fundraising drive to collect the necessary donations for your participation in the Mira Bike Ride, you must first notify us.

We will assess the feasibility of your initiative with you and provide you with the necessary supporting documents:

• Letter of authorization to solicit donations and / or sponsorships
• Our logo and its standards of use
• Example of solicitation letter
• Deposit report
• Report of tax receipts

Promoting your fundraiser

Share your initiative on social media:

• Encourage your friends and family to share your fundraising page.
  
• This might even inspire them to create their own fundraiser.

Donation Solicitation

Those wishing to support you can:

• Make an online donation by credit card through your fundraising page (a tax receipt is automatically sent by email)
• Use this form for donations by check or cash; these contributions should be sent to the Mira Foundation

Criteria to be respected

Mira encourages everyone to personalize their events, while respecting certain important points:

• You must specify in the name of your event that the funds raised will be donated to Mira (e.g., Dinner in the Dark "for the benefit of Mira");
  
• It is forbidden to solicit funds through door-to-door canvassing;
  
• It is forbidden to use the Mira name and trademark for the sale of commercial products or services (except under an agreement with our main partners);
  
• It is forbidden to raise funds through lotteries in the name of Mira;
  
• The Mira Foundation cannot accept any form of fundraising/activity/prize offered/point of sale benefiting Mira that is linked to any pet store or pet supply business other than Mondou, its main sponsor. Volunteer organizers of third-party fundraising activities must also respect this agreement and may not associate other pet supply businesses with their event.
