Let's walk together for our palliative care residence.

Sunday, May 5, 2024

In support of the Maison Sault-Saint-Louis, palliative care residence, the Walk is a healthy and unifying activity accessible to all ages. The 5 km route allows participants to walk at their own pace, alone, in a team or as a family, in complete safety. The Walk is a convivial event, where the mood is lively and festive.

We are delighted that Marina Orsini has enthusiastically accepted to be our honorary patron for a second consecutive year. We hope to bring together close to 250 people and aim to exceed a fundraising goal of $60,000.

"A home should be a place of love and peace, where a sense of respect, caring and security is at the heart of everything.

Welcome home to Maison Sault-Saint-Louis."

The cause

The Maison Sault-Saint-Louis, palliative care residence is a non-profit organization whose mission is to offer free psycho-social support services to families and caregivers, so that those facing the end of life can live out their final moments peacefully, with respect and dignity, surrounded by the love and support of those dearest to them.

Located in LaSalle, the palliative care residence will serve residents of the Greater Montreal South-West area, including the boroughs of LaSalle, Lachine, Verdun, the South-West and the City of Dorval.

Your participation in the Walk and the donations collected will enable the Maison to become the only place of its kind in the Greater South-West. Every step taken and every donation received is an expression of the collective commitment of the citizens of the Greater Sud-Ouest to the well-being of their community.
