Our mission
The mission of La Tablée des Chefs can be summed up in two words: feed and educate.
Feed today to combat food insecurity and educate young people to develop their food autonomy.
Since 2002, La Tablée des Chefs has helped feed the food insecure by distributing over 17.6 million prepared portions, and has educated over 63,000 young people through its various programs.

A word from Jean-François Archambault
The Solidarity Kitchens - Next Generation program has been taking place for 22 years now, and the enthusiasm and pride surrounding this event are as strong as ever. La Tablée des Chefs’ Solidarity Kitchens - Next Generation Edition brings together experienced and up-and-coming chefs. Hand in hand and hands in the dough, they will prepare tasty meals that are then donated to people in need. With requests for food aid unfortunately on the rise, the work done through this program is of the utmost importance in helping people who are dealing with food insecurity. The involvement of both experienced and up-and-coming chefs makes all the difference in the community.
In addition to the fact that this is a caring and supportive activity, I'm particularly delighted by the awareness it raises among culinary students. The more people are aware of the issues of food insecurity and waste, the better equipped we will be to deal with them.
There's no doubt that the Solidarity Kitchens - Next Generation program is synonymous with heritage. Indeed, when teachers and students get involved, there's a touching and hopeful transmission of knowledge. Because, yes, we must hope and ensure that, together, we will fight ever harder against food insecurity. And this strength certainly grows when the knowledge and experience of teachers meet the energy and enthusiasm of young students.
