FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. What is the deadline for registration?
The deadline for registration is April 14th, 2026 .
2. As a participant, if I haven't reached my personal goal before the day of the event, can I still take part in the challenge?
If your team has raised $1,800 or more, you can participate even if your personal goal has not been reached. However, if your team has not raised the minimum amount of $1,800, it will not be possible to participate in the challenge.
3. Can we participate in the challenge even if our team has fewer than six members?
Yes, but your team will still need to raise the minimum amount of $1,800 to participate.
4. Is this a relay challenge?
No, this is not a relay challenge. All participants prepare soup bags at the same time.
5. Can I access the event site for free if I am not a participant?
No. Space is limited and reserved for participants. Therefore, visitors are not allowed.
6. How can I register to become a volunteer on the day of the event?
To add your name to the volunteer list, send an email with your contact information and availability to benevolat@tableedeschefs.org. A member of the team will contact you within a few days of your request. As space is limited, your name will be added to a waiting list.
7. In the event of cancellation, what will happen to the donations collected?
No refunds will be given. All donations collected will be given to La Tablée des Chefs.
8. Do I have to cook during the challenge?
No cooking or culinary experience is required for the challenge. You will have to create soup bags using dry ingredients, in specific quantities that will be provided to you on site. Each bag represents six (6) servings of cooked soup.
9. Who will receive the soup bags?
The soup bags will be distributed to the Food Banks of Quebec.
10. What is the recommended attire for the activity?
An apron will be provided on site, and we recommend wearing comfortable shoes (running shoes) as this is a sporty -style food challenge!
