The Casino Lac Leamy continues to get involved in the fight against food insecurity

Many establishments lend a helping hand to hospitality schools to prepare many portions of vegetarian chili intended for people in need, for the Solidarity Kitchen-Next Generation (SKNG) initiative. It is the case for the Casino Lac Leamy, located in Ottawa, that prepared 5856 portions of vegetarian chili on March 3rd and 4th, 2025!

While it is the first year that the Casino Lac Leamy is involved in the Solidarity Kitchen-Next Generation, the establishment has developped and participated in numerous activities around sustainable development and the fight against food insecurity. ​​​​​​​

For example, the employees regularly prepare bagelwichs and take part in volunteering in the context of a partnership with differents Moissons.
