En partenariat avec le Club Rotary, TSF a récemment acquis un appareil de radiographie destiné à la région enclavée de Bétou, en République du Congo, située à plus de 1300 km de la capitale. Cette acquisition répond à un besoin crucial car la région ne dispose pas de services spécialisés pour sa population. Le projet vise principalement à diagnostiquer la tuberculose et les traumatismes fréquents dans cette zone.

Dans le cadre de cette initiative, TSF et le Club Rotary ont organisé récemment une série de formations pour renforcer les compétences du corps médical local dans l'interprétation des images produites par cet appareil. Cette formation a été hautement appréciée par l'hôpital de référence de Bétou et le centre de santé médico-social affilié à l’hôpital. Pour pouvoir commencer à utiliser l'appareil, il est nécessaire de sécuriser la salle d'examen en plombant cette dernière.

In partnership with the Rotary Club, TSF has recently acquired an X-ray machine for the remote region of Bétou in the Republic of Congo, which is over 1300 km away from the capital. This acquisition meets a crucial need as the region lacks health specialized services for its population. The project aims primarily to diagnose tuberculosis and common injuries in this area.

As part of this initiative, TSF and the Rotary Club recently organized a series of training sessions to enhance the skills of local medical staff in interpreting images produced by this machine. This training was highly appreciated by the Betou reference hospital and the affiliated medical-social health center. To begin using the machine, it is necessary to secure the examination room by installing lead shielding.
