This activity is in solidarity with children with heart disease and lasts for 6 hours, as it is the average duration of open-heart surgery in children.
Why 6 hours?
Our activity aims to be symbolic and supportive of all children with heart disease and their families because open-heart surgery can last an average of 6 hours in children with heart disease.
The Challenge
In-person format: Registrations are open to individuals and teams. Participants have the choice to walk or run individually, in groups, or in relays, for a duration of 6 hours.
Remote format: Participants also register individually or in teams and engage in 6 hours of physical activity of any kind.
Participants are challenged to accumulate the maximum amount of donations.
Fees Adult: $50 Child: Free Remote: $25 For fundraising, the suggested amount is $300 per person. The team goal is $1,000*.
*Fundraising is suggested but optional.
Important
It is mandatory to register for the event. There is no tax receipt for registration. Receipts are only issued for pure donations. Please note that registration fees include a bib with a chip and your participation in the event.
