Chicoutimi CEGEP Students Cook 850 Portions of Chili to Feed the Community

Chicoutimi CEGEP recently stood out with a heartwarming act of solidarity by preparing 850 servings of vegetarian chili.

Twelve culinary arts students rolled up their sleeves with dedication and commitment. Proudly representing the next generation in the restaurant industry, these young individuals showcased not only their culinary skills but also their desire to build a more just and compassionate future.

The prepared meals were donated to Moisson Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, directly contributing to the fight against food insecurity.

Through this project, the students had the opportunity to embody strong social values they can carry with them and promote in their future careers.

Chicoutimi CEGEP can be proud to be shaping a generation of professionals who are as competent as they are committed.
