École hôtelière de l’Outaouais Produces Over 13,000 Portions
2025-04-17
From March 11 to 18, 2025, the École hôtelière de l’Outaouais once again showed its commitment to solidarity by producing over 13,000 portions of chili — a mix of meat chili and tofu chili. Driven by enthusiasm and dedication, the students took on this project to help support people facing food insecurity.
In total, 5,500 portions of meat chili and 7,500 portions of tofu chili were carefully prepared in the school's kitchens.
Guided by their teachers, the students put all their culinary skills to work to create meals that are both nutritious and delicious.
All the portions were donated to Moisson Outaouais, where they will be redistributed to the organization’s beneficiaries, offering a warm and comforting meal to those who need it most.
This initiative not only helped feed hundreds of families and individuals in need, but also gave students a unique opportunity to apply their skills through a large-scale, meaningful, and community-driven project.
A huge congratulations to the students and teachers at École hôtelière de l’Outaouais for their hard work, passion, and commitment to making a difference!
