The Centre La Croisée launched its 6th participation to the Solidarity Kitchen-Next Generation
2025-04-07
The Centre La Croisée started their production this past March 17th and opened their doors for their second to last day of production on March 24th. This year, they prepared 1000 portions for the Solidarity Kitchen-Next Generation (SKNG), a program they’ve been a part of for 6 years.
Some students are already familiar with this initiative since they took part in the previous years. In fact, many of them declared that they prefer this year’s recipe, stating it is easier than last year’s recipe.
The Centre La Croisée stands out for its engagement: it is one of the rare establishments not related to hospitality education that participates in this program. As a center for continued education, it is very involved in the community. Every Monday and Tuesday, their students cook meals for Frigos verts and Moisson Lanaudière for a food donation program.
Let’s look back on this production!
